I developed the story around an idea of "testing and preparing", making using this kind of shot both easy and applicable. The execution of this film went about as poorly as humanly possible. Since I needed to help others film, I had the distinct pleasure of filming last (which I will no longer). I had one week before winter break to film. Filming on Monday was, yet again, spent helping someone else. I then used Tuesday to film, which didn't go well, and my main actor, Mr. Wotherspoon, had surprise surgery on Thursday and Friday. Editing Practice

For this film, I went through a different process of editing my film. Since I didn't take any of the shots and my knowledge of the film was solely limited to the barebones script that was given, I watched through all of the clips and began to use markers to splice up the different clips into short edits that I would be willing to use. After that, it was a simple process of rebuilding the script using the snip-its I edited which was relatively easy. I had a problem with audio throughout the entire movie though. The directors would ALWAYS talk through their clips so I had to maneuver around that, whether it be me muting the clip (Which makes the flow way worse) or just not using entire clips in general. The only transitions I used throughout the entire film was a simple audio transition to try and better the flow, instead of having a really quiet clip and the BAM - a loud scream. Movie Review #1 SALT

Carried by Angelina Jolie's compelling and well structured acting as Evelyn Salt, the movie Salt does a great job pulling readers in cool fight and action scenes creating a pleasant film experience for teenage viewers and up, but falls short in terms of dialogue. The cinematography of the movie creates a story itself, furthering the plot and the suspense of the movie with well placed and executed pan, tilt, boom, and lift shots. These shots complemented the action of the characters very nicely, bolstering the feel of the action scenes with well timed match cut's and movements. However, the movie's script leaves much to be desired. The acting certainly carries the film, but the unfunny jokes and the unoriginal lines detract from the film. As a viewer, I would space out during the lines of dialogue, but wake myself up for the action-packed fight scenes. an improvement in the dialogue would greatly improve the feeling of the film. ...
