The idea for this film came since I wanted to use a time-lapse shot in a film, to test how well I liked the type of shot for future films. I developed the story around an idea of "testing and preparing", making using this kind of shot both easy and applicable. The execution of this film went about as poorly as humanly possible. Since I needed to help others film, I had the distinct pleasure of filming last (which I will no longer). I had one week before winter break to film. Filming on Monday was, yet again, spent helping someone else. I then used Tuesday to film, which didn't go well, and my main actor, Mr. Wotherspoon, had surprise surgery on Thursday and Friday. Thus, I waited until early January to film. Since no class time would be allocated to filming, I needed to film in the mornings, which he was unable to do after confirming multiple times WHICH SCREWED ME. So finally, 5 weeks overdue, I have completed my film, which will be easily the most difficult and annoying film I will shoot this year. I can improve by, firstly, using different actors. Maybe ones that can ACTUALLY FILM. Secondly, going first without time constraints would make filming way, way easier. Ultimately, I couldn't be happier to be done with this film.
